Round 1: Submission Period
From April 15th to June 15th, 2026, contestants can submit their entries for the 8th Search for Atlantis Photo Contest.
Participants may share their works on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or TikTok using the hashtags #OrcaTorch and #SearchforAtlantis2026, and submit the entry link via the official form.( If you don't have an account on these 4 platforms, contact us at info@orcatorch.com to enter.)

Round 2: Preliminary Judging
From June 16th to July 1st, the OrcaTorch team will review all submissions and select 50 shortlisted entries, with 10 works chosen from each category.

Round 3: Final Judging
From July 1st to July 15th, a jury panel will evaluate the shortlisted entries.
The jury consists of OrcaTorch ambassadors and selected collaborators/creators, with different judging panels assigned to each category.
Final winners will be officially announced on July 15th, 2026.

Weekly Highlights (During Submission Period)
Throughout the submission period, outstanding entries will be featured weekly on OrcaTorch’s official channels to showcase inspiring works.
1. Search for Atlantis Photos that are related to " Explore the Hidden Ocean, from reefs to wrecks, from macro to wide."
including Cave, Wrecks & Mine Photography; Macro Photography; Wide-Angle Photography; Marco Video; Wide-Angle Video.
2. Each contestant can submit up to Five (5) photos or videos. Only one category per participant
3. The photo(s) or video(s) must be the contestant’s original work
4. AI-generated or heavily AI-edited works are not allowed.
5. The photo(s) or video(s) must not contain any copyrighted material, including artwork and other works.
6. The photo(s) or video(s) must not contain date stamps, watermarks, or any text on the image.
7. The photo(s) or video(s) must not have been awarded in any other photo contests and/or commercially published, whether for news, advertising, or otherwise.
8. Contestants must agree and comply with the Official Rules.
9. We encourage former contestants to continue participating; however, previously submitted works are not eligible for resubmission again.

Eligibility
1. Contestants under 18 years of age require the permission of a parent or guardian. By entering the contest, entrants under 18 years of age indicate that they have obtained the permission of a parent or guardian.
2. The contest is not open to employees and family members of the employees of OrcaTorch (the "organizer") and the judges of the contest.

Note:
1. Copyright holders retain the copyright of their work. For awarded pictures and videos, copyright holders grant the OrcaTorch unlimited non-exclusive use of high-resolution pictures and videos for activities in all media, including social media, online, and print, about the contest, the exhibition, and all promotional and educational activities for and under the auspices of the OrcaTorch, without any remuneration being due.
2. If the winner(s) fails to respond to the notification within 14 days (counted from the date of announcement of winners), thus the prizes will be regarded as automatically waived
3. All winners must claim their respective prizes within 1 month from the date of notification. All unclaimed prizes will be regarded as automatically waived and no correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
4. The organizer reserves the right to withdraw the prizes if the winners do not comply with the contest terms and conditions.
5. The Organizer's decision on all matters relating to this Contest shall be final, conclusive, and binding. The Organizer is not obligated to give any reasons on any matter in the contest.
